I keep thinking back to the afternoon when B. brought me to the E.R. at the Lutheran and the doctor on duty said he probably could stitch up my lip, but he thought it would be better to have someone more experienced to take care of me. He found out that you were finishing up an operation and said you had applied to come and do the needed surgery. B. and I have been so pleased with the results and feel that we want you to accept the enclosed check as a token of our appreciation. We know that probably this is much less than you would normally receive for such a skilled surgery, but we have been at a loss as to how to repay you for all you did for us since our insurance didn't apply. We will never forget you!
