I am definitely so happy I chose Dr Vath and I will recommend him to everyone. Trust me he is the BEST! And his staff is absolutely amazing! Grateful for my new journey!”

‘Wonderful Results!’
“I was a little apprehensive about having a tummy tuck at my age (65), but Dr. Wolfe reassured me that I'd have good results. He was right. I couldn't be happier with my new tummy! It's been 6 weeks, and I feel great - ready to ease myself back into hiking and working out. The staff and Dr. Wolfe are all very nice and professional. I highly recommend him.”

How much does a tummy tuck cost in Denver?
The cost of a tummy tuck depends on several factors, including the extent of the surgery and whether it’s combined with other body contouring or breast enhancement procedures. For example, our surgeons often perform liposuction as part of a tummy tuck operation. We provide patients with detailed price quotes after their consultations.
What do scars look like after a tummy tuck?
Our talented surgeons take care to make tummy tuck incisions as low as possible on the abdomen so that the resulting scar is concealed by bikini briefs or swimwear. If you’re a candidate for a mini tummy tuck, the incision is much shorter than a full tummy tuck incision. Our surgeons also provide information about treatments to minimize the appearance of scars.
How long is tummy tuck recovery?
Abdominoplasty is major surgery, and you should be prepared to take up to 2 weeks off from a job that doesn’t require strenuous physical work. If it does, the downtime is longer. Because our surgeons use the no-drain approach in most cases, you won’t have to manage or remove drains during the recovery process. This technique also reduces discomfort and the risk of infection. You will have to avoid lifting anything heavy—including small children—during your recovery.

Before/After
During tummy tuck surgery, your surgeon makes a horizontal incision that extends from one hip to the other just above the pubic area. An additional incision around the navel is also made in most procedures. The surgeon repairs and tightens abdominal muscles (if necessary), removes excess skin, and repositions the bellybutton so that it appears natural.
Some surgeons insert drains to remove excess fluid that can accumulate between the skin and abdominal wall during the recovery. Patients must empty the drains periodically as they recover, which can be a nuisance.
Our surgeons perform a specialized “no-drain” tummy tuck. They use advanced suturing techniques to remove the open space where fluid accumulates, eliminating the need for drains. The internal sutures dissolve over time.

If you’ve lost a significant amount of weight, had children, or have simply watched aging take a toll on your abdominal skin, a tummy tuck can help create a flatter abdomen. In fact, if you have excess abdominal skin, surgery is the only way to get the results you want because no amount of exercise or dieting will tighten excess abdominal skin.
A tummy tuck performed by one of our board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeons will:
• Remove excess skin
• Tighten abdominal muscles
• Flatten the abdomen
• Slim the waist
Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) is not weight loss surgery. It’s best to be near the weight you intend to maintain because significant weight fluctuations—either losing or gaining weight—can compromise the results of the surgery.
