This is a 57 year old , 5'0", 146 pound woman who lost a lot of weight and was left with loose skin on her tummy and hips as well as sagging breasts. She underwent a mommy makeover by Dr. Steven Vath to include a body lift and a mastopexy (breast lift). The body lift is also called a circumferential tummy tuck because it includes a tummy tuck but also extends around the hips and onto the lower back to get rid of the love handles. The "muffin top" that many women complain about after kids or weight loss does not get managed by liposuction because there is extra skin. This patient opted to not only tighten her tummy and breasts, but also to tighten the skin on her hips to prevent the "muffin top" in pants. The scars are nicely hidden by a two-piece bathing suit.
