Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, increases the skin’s radiance and firmness from within by creating tiny injuries with fine needles. At Rejuvenate MedSpa in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Golden, Colorado, we offer the most advanced microneedling system, Genius RF microneedling by Lutronic. It releases radiofrequency (RF) energy from the needles for more dramatic results than traditional microneedling.
What are the benefits of microneedling treatments?
Microneedling creates tiny wounds that are too small to cause damage, but induce your skin’s natural healing reaction, increasing collagen and elastin production and improving blood supply. Benefits include:

How does microneedling compare to laser skin treatments?
Genius RF microneedling creates microchannels that extend to the deeper layers of the skin, which can improve absorption of customized serums applied following the treatment.
Unlike some laser treatments, microneedling is safe on skin of all types and tones. What’s more, there is much less downtime after microneedling than with laser treatments, with the trade-off being that laser treatments often provide more noticeable results but come with a downtime of anywhere from 2 to 10 days.

How many microneedling treatments will I need?
We recommend undergoing 3 to 5 treatments, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, to get the most benefit from Genius microneedling. This treatment schedule enhances the collagen production and leads to optimal results. Multiple treatments have proven to produce a truly remarkable improvement in skin quality.
