What Is the Difference Between Laser Skin Rejuvenation and Resurfacing?
Laser skin rejuvenation targets sun damage, pigmentation, and texture concerns in the superficial upper layers of the skin, while laser skin resurfacing treats deeper concerns and requires more downtime.
Laser skin rejuvenation is safe and effective for the face, neck, décolletage, arms, hands, and other exposed skin. We tailor the intensity of these treatments to your needs and available downtime.
Laser skin resurfacing, such as our HALO® hybrid fractional laser, treats mild to advanced concerns, penetrates deeper than rejuvenating lasers, provides more dramatic results, and requires about 3 to 5 days of downtime.

MOXI® Prejuvenation

How It Works
MOXI is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser, which means it does not harm the surface of the skin. It produces tiny columns of laser energy that heat the water within the skin cells to prevent burns on darker skin. It stimulates your body’s natural healing process to increase collagen, reduce pigmentation, and refresh skin tone and texture.

MOXI is safe for all skin types and can be performed any time of the year, even on suntanned skin. It is ideal for patients who want to prevent or correct early signs of aging and sun damage. Benefits include:

Your MOXI Treatment
MOXI treatments take about 15 minutes to complete. To ensure your comfort, we apply a topical numbing cream beforehand.
Treatment protocol: 3 to 4 treatments, each spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart
Recovery
Recovery is minimal; most patients return to normal activities right away. Treated skin may look slightly pink and feel warm, similar to a mild sunburn, for about 30 minutes. It is safe to apply makeup the next day.
Results
Many patients notice a refreshed appearance within 5 to 7 days. Collagen stimulation continues for several weeks, leading to ongoing improvements in tone and smoothness.

How It Works
LaseMD is also a non-ablative fractional laser that delivers heat into the skin without harming the surface. As the tissue heals, damaged skin sheds and is replaced with fresh, healthy cells.

LaseMD is well-suited for patients with early to advanced concerns who want visible improvements with little to no downtime. It helps with:

Your LaseMD Treatment
LaseMD is gentle and safe for all skin types. Treatments are quick, taking 5 to 20 minutes to complete. We use topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort. Your provider can adjust the laser’s intensity for different concerns and areas.
Treatment protocol: 2 to 3 treatments, each spaced about 4 weeks apart.
Recovery
Because LaseMD is non-ablative, there is little to no downtime. The skin will be mildly red for approximately the first 30 minutes. Most patients can resume daily activities immediately after treatment. Within a few days, the skin will feel rough and become flaky as the treated cells slough off.
Results
As collagen production increases, patients see brighter, smoother skin over several weeks. Results build gradually and can be maintained with additional sessions.
