Breast Reduction Before & After Case 547

This 40 year-old woman was looking for plastic surgeons because she had a moderate amount of mammary hypertrophy, but even more so breast ptosis (or a drooping effect), having had 2 children which she breastfed. She also had fairly chronic upper back and shoulder pain, which was minimally relieved by the interventions of a chiropractor. At the time of surgery she weighed approximately 155 pounds, and wore a 36DD bra sized.

She underwent abreast reduction with significant lifting, and recovered quite nicely, with almost immediate relief of her symptoms. On the right side, approximately 445 grams of tissue were removed, and on the left side, 376 were removed, leaving her in a larger C-cup bra size (photographs are from approximately 3 months post-op).
