Case Details
17 year-old female with prominent ear deformity (lack of a fold, full "bowl" of ear) since childhood. Underwent ear reshaping or "otoplasty" under light general and local anesthesia as an outpatient, with creation of an "antihelical fold" and bowl area pinning/setback, which she tolerated well. Sutures on the back of the ear were removed within one week, and the patient's mild ear inflammation settled down nicely, with photos here shown at 3-4 weeks post-op.
