Case Details
This is a 50 year old, 5'8", 175 lb. woman who previously underwent a breast augmentation without a lift. She did not like the shape of her breasts after her augmentation. Contrary to popular belief, changing her implants alone to a different size or style would not improve her shape. She needed a breast lift (mastopexy) to make her breasts prettier. She underwent an implant exchange, removal of her internal scar tissue (capsulectomy) and a mastopexy by Dr. Steven Vath. She had 475cc saline implants removed and replaced with 605cc high profile, round, silicone gel implants. Then, she a had a breast lift to round out the bottom of her breasts to create a more attractive shape.
